06 April 2023 Cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Health and Population (Higher Committee for Health Specialties) and the Egyptian Health Council

Today, Thursday, April 6, 2023, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Ministry of Health and Population (the Supreme Committee for Health Specialties), represented by Prof.  Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, and Prof.  Hossam Hosni Masoud, Secretary General of the Supreme Committee for Specialties, is acting on his behalf in signing this protocol. Health in its capacity as authorized to sign this protocol (first party) and the Egyptian Health Council, legally represented by Prof.  Mohamed Mostafa Lotayef, CEO of the Egyptian Health Council (second party).

It was agreed to sign this protocol for the purpose of laying down the general principles for regulating cooperation between the two sides in the areas of joint training and exchange of experiences...

The Egyptian Health Council, established by Law No. (12) of 2022, aims to regulate the fields of health in Egypt in the areas of post-university education, specialized training, qualification and development of the scientific and clinical level of doctors and workers in various health fields, through fruitful and constructive cooperation with state agencies. And medical faculties in Egyptian universities, which provides opportunities for exchanging experiences and capabilities and creates greater opportunities for cooperation in the field of practical training and community service.

And based on the role of the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population in preserving the health of citizens and working to improve the health of individuals, and raising the level of providing all medical and health services and medical education to its children from doctors and workers in various health specialties, the Supreme Committee for Health Specialties was formed in the Ministry of Health and Population to aim to raise the level of The educational process and training distinguished generations of young doctors and workers in various health specialties in the Egyptian Fellowship Training Program and the Egyptian Board, and providing opportunities for cooperation and exchange of experiences between the Egyptian Health Council and the Higher Committee for Health Specialties at the Ministry of Health and Population in the field of vocational training.

 

Therefore, a joint cooperation protocol was signed between the Supreme Committee for Health Specialties and the Egyptian Health Council, in recognition of the importance of cooperation in the fields of education and continuous training for doctors and members of the health team in various specialties.
