In reference to Law No. 12 of 2022 on the establishment of the Egyptian Health Council, and according to the provision of Article (3) thereof, obtaining a license to practice the profession requires that the applicant successfully pass the exam held by the Egyptian Health Council for the Qualification to Practice the Profession, and the license granted to practice the profession for a period of five years is renewable for a similar period.
