Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, Mr. Hassan Raddad, Minister of Labor, and prof. Mohamed Lotayef, The Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, witnessed the signing of a tripartite cooperation protocol aimed at enhancing institutional integration and achieving the maximum benefit from the available capabilities in providing health services and developing the vocational training system in Egypt in order to enhance health care and develop vocational training.
It was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Health by Dr. Nevin Abd Rab Al-Nabi, Director General of the General Administration of Nursing, on behalf of the Ministry of Labor by Engineer Yasmine Mamdouh, Head of the Central Administration for Vocational Training, and on behalf of the Egyptian Health Council by Dr. Ihab Kamal, Director General of the General Administration of Strategic Management.
This protocol aims to establish a road map for developing human resources through:
-Preparing curricula: formulating professional standards and internationally accredited training curricula.
-Governance of training centers: approving and licensing private training centers and monitoring their compliance with established standards.
-Digital transformation: Consider launching an electronic application that brings together all the services stipulated in the protocol to facilitate access to them.
-Supporting technical teams: providing administrative and organizational support to ensure the quality of assessments and tests for trainees.
This cooperation reflects the concerted government efforts to link the labor market with the health system, ensuring the graduation of trained cadres capable of meeting the needs of the health sector with high efficiency.
