prof. Mohamed Lotayef, The Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, participated in the activities of the annual international conference of the National Cancer Institute. The conference was opened by Prof. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq, President of Cairo University, in the presence of Dr. Hussein Khaled, former Minister of Higher Education, and Dr. Nadia Zakhary, former Minister of Scientific Research. Dr. Hossam Kamel, former president of Cairo University, Dr. Ahmed Taha, head of the General Authority for Health Accreditation and Control (GAHAR), Dr. Mohamed Abdel Moaty, Dean of the National Cancer Institute Major General Dr. Tariq Al-Najdi, Director of the Military Medical Academy, Dr. Omar Sharif Omar, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of University Hospitals, Dr. Nima Abed, the representative of the World Health Organization in Egypt, and an elite group of experts and specialists in treating oncology.
His Excellency referred to the role of the National Cancer Institute, which is one of the most prominent and leading medical edifices in Egypt, and one of the largest actors in the system of continuously improving the level of health care to ensure the provision of high-quality health services. The conference was approved with twenty (20) hours of training approved by the Egyptian Health Council.
