27 June 2024 Signing a memorandum of understanding between the Egyptian Health Council and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Egyptian Health Council and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development in the field of benefiting from the information infrastructure and supporting digital transformation activities. This memorandum was signed by Prof. Mohamed Lotayef, The Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, and Engineer. Ashraf Abdel Hafeez, Assistant Minister of Planning and Economic Development for Digital Transformation, in the presence of both: Minister of Planning and Economic Development Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, and Minister of Health and Population Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar.
The memorandum of cooperation aims to achieve integration with the Information Infrastructure Center of the Egyptian Planning System. A health map for diseases will be created that includes: (national records of diseases and medical interventions), providing technical support and technical consultations to develop systems, applications and databases, providing hosting and managing the information environment daily throughout the week while maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of information, data and documents.
This memorandum will be implemented for a period of five years, with the aim of achieving cooperation and integration between the various parties for the benefit of the health system in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
