01 August 2024 Meeting of the Supreme Committee for Continuing Professional Development of Pharmacy

prof. Mohamed Mustafa Lotayef, The Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, met with the Supreme Committee for Continuing Professional Development of Pharmacy to discuss the ongoing work plan to discuss and approve scientific, professional and specialized training programs for pharmacy for the post-university education stage, and to approve professional certificates for those who pass these programs in the various branches of pharmacy from training bodies. The concerned authority approved by the Council, and His Excellency fully explained the approved professional development activities, the rules and standards for continuing professional development activities, and the mechanisms for registering continuing professional development activities; This is through the Health Council’s website, and Prof. Azza Munir Muhammad Mustafa Agha was chosen as Chairman of the Committee.

In a strategic step to enhance the efficiency of the health system and develop the skills of doctors, the General Syndicate of Egyptian Physicians announced the opening of the Continuing Medical Education Center (SCOPE) in its new and advanced headquarters, after obtaining official accreditation from the Egyptian Health Council.
