20 February 2024 Meeting of the Supreme Committee for Guidelines for ICSI Specialization

Professor Mohamed Mustafa Lotayef Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, met with the Supreme Committee for Guidelines for the Specialty of ICSI to discuss the work plan and draw a road map for developing guidelines for ICSI. Prof. Mohamed Yahya Abdel Hamid Soliman was chosen as Chairman of the Committee.
The committee is composed of:
• Prof. Mohamed Yahya Abdel Hamid Soliman - Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University.
• Prof. Abdel Majeed Ismail Abdel Majeed Ramzy - Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
• Prof. Medhat Kamel Ismail Amer - Professor of Andrology Medicine and Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
• Prof. Hisham Ali Mohamed Mohamed Saleh - Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University.
• Prof. Ali Muhammad Abdel Rahman Mahran - Professor of Dermatology and Venereology at the Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University.
• Prof. Jamal Al-Din Ibrahim Muhammad Abu Al-Sorour - Full-time Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine for Boys, Al-Azhar University.
• Prof. Mohamed Tawfiq Al-Sayed Abdel-Latif Ali El-Sherbiny - Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Damietta General Hospital.
• Prof. Wafa Binyamin Basta Mitri - Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinical Consultant, Matareya Teaching Hospital.
• Doctor Brigade / Amjad Mounir Jalal Mustafa Mounir - retired Armed Forces Doctor Brigade.

The Egyptian Health Council signed a memorandum of understanding with the Vaccine and Biotechnology City to support the Egyptian Board's programs in the fields of veterinary medicine and pharmacy.

In a strategic step to enhance the efficiency of the health system and develop the skills of doctors, the General Syndicate of Egyptian Physicians announced the opening of the Continuing Medical Education Center (SCOPE) in its new and advanced headquarters, after obtaining official accreditation from the Egyptian Health Council.
