27 December 2023 Meeting of the Supreme Committee for Guidelines for Intensive Care Specialization Wednesday 12/27/2023

Professor Mohamed Mostafa Lotayef Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, met with the Supreme Committee for Guidelines for the Specialization of Intensive Care to discuss the work plan and draw a road map for developing guidelines for intensive care. Prof.Sherif Wadih Nashed was chosen as Chairman of the Committee.
The committee is composed of:
• Prof. Sherif Wadih Nashed - Professor, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University and Head of the Care Department.
• Prof. Ayman Abdel Hamid Mahmoud Al-Tayyar - Assistant Consultant in Damanhour Educational Center.
• Prof. Mohamed Omar Abdel Aziz Mohamed - Assistant Professor, Faculty of Medicine, Minya University.
• Prof. Alaa Mohamed Ahmed Attia - Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University.
• Prof. Mohamed Hosni Abdullah - Professor of Critical Conditions, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
• Prof. Ashraf Al-Sayed Al-Ajmi - Professor of Care, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University.
• Internist Dr. Ahmed Mreikb - Intensive Care Consultant at the Ministry of Interior.
• Major General / Magdy Fathi Muhammad - Intensive Care Fellowship, Ministry of Defense.
• Dr. Raymonda Refaat - Master’s in Health Economics - Unified Purchasing.
•Dr. Iman Ibrahim Al-Desouki Mahmoud - Assistant Consultant at the Liver Institute.

In a strategic step to enhance the efficiency of the health system and develop the skills of doctors, the General Syndicate of Egyptian Physicians announced the opening of the Continuing Medical Education Center (SCOPE) in its new and advanced headquarters, after obtaining official accreditation from the Egyptian Health Council.
