


Prof. Mohamed Mostafa Lotayef, The Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, participated in the activities of the annual conference of the Egyptian Society for the Study of Endoscopy, Gastrointestinal System and Liver
His Excellency began his speech by introducing the Egyptian Health Council, promulgated by Law No. 12 of 2022 establishing the Egyptian Health Council as a public service authority, and its headquarters will be in Cairo, and His Excellency explained that the main objective of establishing the Council is to regulate the fields of health in Egypt in the fields of education Post-university vocation, specialized training, rehabilitation and development of the scientific and clinical level of doctors, health care providers and workers in various health fields.
His Excellency pointed out that the Council does not only deal with the medical sector, but also works with health specialties in the Arab Republic of Egypt (human medicine, dental, pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing, veterinary medicine).
Presentation of all the activities carried out by the Egyptian Health Council, starting with the national exam for practicing health professions, and the Egyptian Board, where the Council grants an accredited certificate called the 'Egyptian Board' to all graduates of health sector faculties after passing the training program, the unified test for each of the health specialties subject to the provisions of this law, continuous professional development (CPD), accreditation of scientific, vocational training, and higher health specialized programs for post-university education, and the accreditation of professional certificates for those who pass these programs in the branches of work The various medical health from the concerned training bodies approved by the Council - Establishing records for workers in the public and private health sectors - Establishing national records for diseases and medical interventions - Standards for applying professional ethical charters The conference was also approved by the Egyptian Health Council with 18 training hours.
