prof. Mohamed Lotayef, The Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, participated in the opening of the eleventh scientific conference of the Department of Oncology at Ain Shams University. The conference was opened by: Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Awad Taj El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs., Prof. Hussein Khaled, former Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zein Al-Abidin, President of Ain Shams University, and Dr. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Hospitals at Ain Shams University, and a group of university leaders.
His Excellency pointed out the important role played by Ain Shams University and its hospitals in the field of cancer treatment and diagnosis as centers of knowledge and research, as well as training the next generation of doctors in the field of oncology. As Ain Shams University Hospitals is an integrated medical city that provides distinguished medical and therapeutic services that keep pace with global technological development. 
His Excellency also referred to the great effort exerted by the Supreme Committee for Oncology Guidelines, and these guidelines are considered one of the most important activities of the Egyptian Health Council. The Egyptian Health Council approved the eleventh conference of Ain Shams University with 14 accredited training hours
