22 May 2023 Digital transformation workshop to develop the performance of work systems within hospitals

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Lotayef, Executive President of the Egyptian Health Council, participated in the workshop held by Prof. Dr. Ehab Kamal Advisor to the Minister for Medical Education Affairs at the Princess Fatima Academy for Medical Education, the content of the workshop was on how upgrading the health system and using digital transformation to improve the performance of work systems within hospitals.

  This is within the framework of the continuous cooperation between the Egyptian Health Council and the Ministry of Health and Population and the efforts made by the Ministry to raise the efficiency of medical staff in all specialties to provide the best medical service, and in cooperation with Mr.major General. Dr. Ashraf Abdel-Alim, Assistant Minister for Information Systems and Digital Transformation, and the participation of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and Elsevier Company.

The activities of the day came with the honor and speech of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Lotayef, Executive President of the Egyptian Health Council, and the welcome speech from Prof. Dr. Ehab Kamal, Advisor to His Excellency the Minister of Health for Medical Education Affairs. He presented the importance of digital transformation within the work system of the Ministry of Health and Population, while introducing the Egyptian Health Council and the tasks assigned to it.

 The workshop was attended by Dr. Robert Niaves, Executive Vice President of Digital Transformation for Elsevier Company.

In a strategic step to enhance the efficiency of the health system and develop the skills of doctors, the General Syndicate of Egyptian Physicians announced the opening of the Continuing Medical Education Center (SCOPE) in its new and advanced headquarters, after obtaining official accreditation from the Egyptian Health Council.
